First, we need to look at the appearance of the packaging. The seal cap of the brand-name oil is a disposable cap, and there is a sealing foil at the gap. The foil has special marks of the manufacturer. If there are no such features, it may be fake oil. In addition, in order to prevent counterfeiting, the brand-name oil has special marks on the label stickers, the bottom of the can, the inside of the can lid, the handle and other inconspicuous places. If the criminals customize the packaging to make fakes, they can be distinguished by comparing the two outer packagings of the real and fake.
Second, observe the oil. The real oil is light and transparent, without impurities, no suspended matter, no sediment, and has good fluidity when shaking. Fake oil or oil color is darker, or there are impurities and sediments, or the smell is strong and irritating, the fluidity is poor when shaking, or there is a wire drawing phenomenon when touched by hand.
There are generally three types of counterfeit oil products:
First, the recycled waste oil is used for filling and listing after treatment;
Second, it is mixed with a simple base oil without any additives;
Third, low-grade oil is purchased for filling and inferior. Generally, the color of fake lubricants is adjusted to be equivalent to that of real oil.
