Storage Methods of CK-4 Heavy Duty Engine Oil
1. Control the storage environment temperature:
CK-4 engine oil should be stored in a cool, dry indoor environment, and the temperature should be kept between 5℃-30℃. High temperature will accelerate the oxidation and deterioration of the engine oil; at the same time, prevent freezing at low temperatures.
2. Keep the environment clean:
The storage area should be away from pollution sources such as dust and sand to prevent impurities from mixing into the engine oil. If the engine oil barrel is not sealed tightly, the entry of pollutants will affect the lubrication effect and even aggravate engine wear.
3. Pay attention to the packaging seal:
For unopened engine oil barrels, ensure that the sealing cap is tightened, and seal it in time after opening to reduce contact with air and prevent moisture and oxygen from entering, which may cause engine oil oxidation and emulsification.
4. Reasonable placement:
The engine oil barrel should be stored upright as much as possible to reduce the contact area between the sealing cap and the engine oil and reduce the risk of leakage; if it needs to be placed horizontally, ensure that the barrel cover is facing up and check regularly for leakage.
5. Avoid heavy pressure:
Do not stack heavy objects on the oil barrel to prevent the barrel from deforming and causing the seal to fail, causing oil leakage or contamination. At the same time, oils of different brands and models should be stored separately to avoid confusion.
6. Regular inspection:
Regularly inspect the stored oil to check for leakage, discoloration, odor and other abnormal conditions. If problems are found, deal with them in time to ensure the quality of the oil.
